I've been on Baclofen for most of this year and it's been great at really reducing my drinking. I am so grateful to this forum for keeping me straight! :thanks:
However, now it is winter and I've had a couple of viral colds, I realise that, with my asthma, Baclofen is really not going to work for me. It has greatly exacerbated it, and is intolerable when I'm ill. I am gutted.
I've paid for, but not yet received RJ's book, but from what I have read have decided to go down the topa route. I am worried about coming off the Baclofen, as I know I can have anxiety even if I'm just a wee bit late for a dose! So I would be grateful for your suggestions for titrating down on the Baclofen and up on Topa. I'm aware this may be a slow process.
Thank you!
