    What happened here?

Haven't been here for absolutely ages! I know something really weird happened. Posts were not being posted by the real people. Is the real Ne still around? Could one of the vets send me a pm to see if the real posters are still around? Greg, Lush, Murph?
    Thanks,

    Missy

I am here! Ne is around somewhere, I think undercover or something...LOL, (just kidding Ne)- Murph is incognito as another member. How are you?
Hope all is well! Happy New Year!

In addiction, suppression of symptoms should suppress the disease altogether since addiction is, as he observed, a "symptom-driven disease". Of all "anticraving medications used in animals, only one - baclofen - has the unique property of suppressing the motivation to consume cocaine, heroin, alcohol, nicotine and d-amphetamine"

        What happened here?

        Yes....but ???

Hi Lady Lush, I am really really well thanks. I managed to get sober just by myself. I was in an extremely abusive relationship and once I ended that, alcohol just wasn't on the radar. I am in a great place right now. Living alone, back into the work I truly love and leading a peaceful and cherished life. I remember when I was posting here a long time ago. What a mess I was! Angry, abusive, etc etc. Yuk.

I am actually being serious about MWO. I used to check in once in awhile and it seemed that something was really wrong. I am not being paranoid here. There was a time I realised that posters I had become used to and obviously their phrases, their personalities, their use of words were being appropriated by someone else pretending to be them. Call me paranoid, but I know what I read was not right.

Anyhow , once again, if others around when I was, could pm me.....I would feel better. Hey Ne....come and enlighten me and quash my doubts!

        Otter, yes you are here.

Wishing everyone well on their road to sobriety.

          What happened here?

I'm back here but I don't say very much due to a very busy life in recovery. I tend to give advice to those interested in Naltrexone and Sinclair Method because that's were I feel I can give most support.
I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years

Thanks all. I've been on the journey a long time now. I've eaten so much baclofen they send me t shirts now.

I stopped coming for a while when it got real odd around here. I used to live on this forum.
