Nah, you're going to have to be more specific about that belt, K. I googled and came up with some lifevests and other various boating/sporting equipment. I want what you have. I think. Not being able to touch makes me nervous. Then again, touching makes me nervous.

But I REALLY want to overcome my fear of water if we're going to be staying here, with water literally all around us, for the foreseeable future. And it looks as though that may be the case. So help a woman out. What exactly do you use?

(I am a mile from a beautiful beach that is not quite ocean and totally safe and gorgeous! With great parking and no tourists. Yet I freak out when I get in the water. Totally irrational. I must overcome.)

I'm also glad to hear about the drug and alcohol-craving free life. I was just more consumed by my own needs at the moment. Sorry.

Also, please don't stop posting. That's not cool. It's SO damn important to hear about what happens in the after, and so few people do it. Please don't do that.

Would you please for the love of all good things post on the sweet success with baclofen thread? Just because I asked so nicely? If you say no, I will live through the crushing disappointment.

Yesterday was 3 years since I started bac. I thought about the date when I was running. I've been off bac for a month or so and am doing well. I am thrilled. I have no desire nor time to drink. I'm grateful to everyone here that helped me with my questions and supported me through the process. Thank you.

I don't post much. I don't have much to add. There has been talk of SEs and I did have them but the memory of them has faded. I do remember that I was rather unique in that I had more when I titrated down. All of them were worth it to be where I am 3 years later. I titrated slowly due to my dr and I didn't go above 80 mgs. I maintained at 30-50 mgs.

Quick post. I've been off baclofen since 11/15 because I had bad SEs when I exercised outdoors in the heat. I've been sober that entire time. I notice that I'm a little more stressed than I was on baclofen but the trade off is ok. I've gotten into ultra running and, for the most part, I'm pleased with the races I've run and the people I've met.

Yay! 4 years ago I started baclofen. What a mess I was at the doctor office and pharmacy that late afternoon. I had to read back to see it's been 13 months since I stopped taking baclofen and all is basically the same as my last post. I'm more stressed then when I took baclofen but the SEs mess with my running. Drinking is neither here nor there for me.

Please, no negative comments here. I appreciate it.
