I just recently had a run in with a circular saw and my leg, yeah it wasn't pretty. I got stitches and they gave me an antibiotic for infection and painkillers. I took them and felt nauseus and like caca. I've been on Baclofen for 7 months so I know it wasnt the bac.

    Hope you feel better.

    Cheers!
OUCH!!! Heal well. Heal quickly and try not to play with dangerous tools. Chainsaws scare me! It might be that Freddy Krueger thing? :H:shocked:eace::getwell::zonedout:

I'm still taking bac, though I was inconsistent for a bit because I was just feeling so ill with the medications. I'm back on track now though and will start titrating up again tomorrow. We had people over this weekend and I tend to use AL as a crutch for social anxiety, I did drink but I was able to limit myself thanks to the bac.
I was slowly going off bac to see how I'd feel and when I got down to 10mgs per day the cravings started to come back. So now I'm going back up on bac. It's a lifesaver for me! :l

That's good to hear, hope you find your perfect maintenance dose! I'm hoping to kick myself out of the daily habit--right now I still don't feel relaxed and de-stressed enough to sleep without a few drinks before bed, but with bac the number of drinks is decreasing so I'm very hopeful.

Just checking in, I'm still on Bac but a very low dose. I'm going through some medical stuff and tapered down because of procedures that require fasting and no medication. Amazingly, I had a completely AF week last week despite my very low dosage, but then gave myself a hideous hangover on the weekend--I think I need to stay away from wine/liquor for now. I'd still like to only drink on weekends, but just beer. I've been AF this week so far and plan to continue that until Sat. I've traded drinking for going to bed and falling asleep while reading a book--a habit I have always wanted to have. Not sure if I want to taper off of Bac completely since I'm already doing well with an almost inconsequential dose. I'm also taking L-Glutamine in the evenings. Maybe that is enough on it's own?

            Anxious--
How great that you were able to be AF even when you had to tritrate down a lot. Do you plan on going back up?

I hope the medical tests come back normal. Good luck!

Thanks, the tests went well but I don't have the full results yet. I'm not sure if I plan to titrate back up on Bac or not, I'm doing really well right now with the small dose so I may even titrate off completely after a few weeks if I'm still doing well, just to see if my problem with AL was more behavioral than addictive.
