    ignominious,

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I wanted time to sit and think when I posted to you.

The company I use measures 11 minerals and 10 toxic metals. They state that their goal is not just identifying toxic metals but in using the test results to balance body chemistry so that metals start to release from the organs safely and are then excreted. So no chelation is needed. This wouldn't work at all if you were to have your mercury fillings out.

As I said before, the metals are layered deep within tissues, so when diet, supplements, and a few lifestyle changes are made the toxic metals slowly release layer after layer. Hidden metals show up in further tests. It's pretty cool. I felt different when the toxic metals hit my bloodstream. I had live blood cell analysis during this time and I could see the copper (by its color and with the doctor pointing it out) in my blood. I didn't change much in my lifestyle or diet and I did feel better with the supplements. In my follow up 3 or 4 months later my copper and aluminum levels were back in the normal range and mercury showed up.

They also look at long term metabolic activity (stress, blood sugar, carbo imbalances, metabolic rate, glandular imbalances, biochemical energy production). The results are used to identify the person's oxidation rate which means how his body is converting food eaten to energy. This info relates to adrenal and thyroid function. Stress levels are also tied into the oxidation rate.

I hope this bit makes sense and please ask if you're interested in more info. I don't order this test much but everyone who follows their supplement plan feels better and are healthier. I was still over drinking back when I did this, but I felt better. I'm thinking it's time for me to do it again! Thanks!

Sounds about right Kron. Also sounds like a fairly expensive and tailored procedure. Would be interested in the link. Looks like my financial future is finally looking up. No doubt largely due tto 3 relatively sober years.

What do they say about doing a detox while you still have a mouth full of amalgams?
Started Baclofen 3/9/10 Hit my switch at 250mg on 21/11/10 Present maintenance dose of 50mg : started drinking after 1 year, upped dose to 80mg and stopped: Tapered to 30mg, started 6 months of drinking, upped dose to 240mg to stop 12/7/12

The site is arltma.com. Give it a look and if you're interested you need a practitioner to send your hair sample in. There's a questionnaire that you fill in that goes with it. I don't know where you live, but if I can help PM me.

I also have a good bit of mercury in my mouth and I saw results. Maybe you'll eventually get the fillings out. I've had patients do half their mouth at once and chelate the mercury orally. Maybe give them a call and ask.

        Hope this helps. 😋

Interesting site Kron. Sounds promising, I shall get in touch with them. Thanks.

I know lots of under employed Doctors here so finding a practitioner wont be a problem. I can also get spectrograph analysis done on the cheap in Thailand.

I've been taking 80mg for about a fortnight. The somnolence is still there and general listlessness. Unfortunately I have enjoyed drinking over the last 4 nights. Not to excess but enough to give me a bit of a hangover. I shall have to supplement the bac with some willpower. Don't mind having the occasional drink but 4 nights in a row is pushing it.
