Sorry to hear you are having troubles Omaha. Have you tried Piracetam? It won't help with your leg issues though, that sounds pretty rough.

Hopefully this lower dose will still work. Short of time right now, so can't really say much else. Good luck.

      Omaha-

Sorry SEs are not going to work for HDB. Maybe the low dose bac will work with something like NAL. Just make sure you hold on the the feeling of not NEEDIng a drink and refrain as much as possible. I think NAL works by taking the high out of drinking...someone can correct me if that is not right since I never looked into NAL...so if LDB keeps urges lower and NAL takes the pleasure out of drinking, you may be able to get where you want with this combination,.

        Omaha,
I had relief as low as 30mg. I still drank nearly every day, but never more the 3 or 4 drinks. If you can go down slowly, maybe you can figure out where a good place is for you to balance SEs and indifference. I had pretty bad SEs starting at 70mg, but now at 120, they have really decreased after several months on that dose. In fact, I really have no SEs except occasional ringing in my ears. If I were you, I would go down to where I was having a hard time not drinking, go up to the last dose before that kicked in, and stay there for a month or two. But my legs don't feel like they are on fire. If they were, I'm not sure what I would do.

Just a quick followup: I titrated completely off quite quickly without any problems. Went down to 50mg/day as previously mentioned, then to 30, then 20, 10 and none for a few days. I always had some with me just in case, but other than a little anxiety it went smooth and I started to feel better every day. The 'sunburn' feeling came and went until I was 2 days completely off of it but seems gone for good now.

Currently 12 days AF and holding

The Naltrexone I ordered should hopefully arrive this week. I am still doing reserach on TSM so I don't yet have a plan of action, but I am holding on to anti-craving as long as I can...
