    Baclofen -Help needed-Please

Colin;1522174 wrote: I have been on citalopram for 4/5 years and it made an enormous difference almost immediately. Later I started a small dose (7.5 mg per day) of mirtazepine, initially to wean me off sleeping pills (temazepam) and later because it helped depression even more.

A problem with mirtazepine is that it is hard to stop so beware. I don't really mind because it hasn't lost its effectiveness.

Since starting citalopram I have only been depressed during long drinking spells and especially in the morning.

Throughout my 14 months on baclofen I never suffered from depressive incidents.
Thanks Colin -I have heard that a lot of people have had success with citalopram. Unfortunately, I tried this medication as well and experienced very negative SE-s. I am going to continue trying to make some lifestyle changes (nutrition and EXERCISE) and see how this works over the next ninety days or so. Baclofen has made a huge difference in my ability to even address issues like depression. It is very unsettling to wake one morning and and be totally unfamiliar with this "new-negative thought" person. And perhaps all of this is still occurring as a result of the removal of alcohol from the system. I was told "Patience, grasshopper". Thanks again.

You can't. It's all good though. No harm, no chickens. (Lame, I know. A small attempt at humor.)

But you can delete all of your posts in a thread, no? Ne?

Have any others experienced this tremendous neck-head pain? Please let me know!!
(If yes, did it go away???)
            ...
i'm having i think exactly the same effect right now... from a month maybe... 24/24 and yes, me too i would call it "tremendous".
Mine is not really a pain but is a really annoying disturbing continous effect that affects the concentration, the humor, the thinking in itself.
            Never had it before.

Me too i would like to know how it went away.
I will go to make an EEG just to see if is not something "serious" more than muscles, but i think no.
Was thinkng to buy a TENT electrostimulator to see if it helps..-
I know someone in another forum, having the same problem and resolving it lowering the Bac.

The worse is that i feel a little bit like this all good sensations that Bac was giving to my "new life" they are partially gone...

Would be really good any advice about this (its last subject in my thread).
            Thanks
