    Interesting angle on stopping smoking...

One of the disturbing se's of my (haphazard) journey towards sobriety has been my massive increase in smoking fags.
At the highest level I could bear on Baclofen (200mgs), and before probably started around 50 mgs, I noticed my smoking went up drastically. From about 10 a day to at least 20. Small change for some smokers, but it did (and does) worry me.
i'm now on Naltrexone, and am tapering up, started on 25 mgs, felt sick and just awful and am now doing 12.5 a day. Drinking is better. But I attribute that to the honeymoon period.
    Now on 37.5 mgs Baclofen.
    Anyway back to the thread...
I read that taking one teaspoon of cream of tarter mixed in oj can help with the smoking problem.
I am on day 12 now and cannot quite belive that actually my smoking has decreased dramatically. Might be coming off Bac, might be placebo.
I take one teaspoon cream of tarter, mixed in a little hot water to dissolve, then top up with spring water and pop 1000 mgs Vit C. It seems to be helping.
I don't suggest for a second that taking a teaspoon of cream of tartar will do the job alone, but with a little application, and commitment....well just maybe. Here is one of many links....
