    HAPPY MOTHERS' Day

On this day, I wish all the Mothers on this forum Happy Mother's Day. You Mothers, regardless of your situation, truly mean so much to your children.

TO MY MOTHER: I am grateful to have my mother and the grace, love, and compassion, she has brought to my life. I know she has done the best she could with what she had at any given moment. In time. She has always supported in my many recovery attempts and has never given up on me. She is now a happy and encouraged supporter of BACLOFEN.

TO MY ANGEL WIFE: Your compassion, love, support, grace, and mercy have allowed me the opportunity to find real and meaningful freedom. You were so excited at my chance to try this new drug BACLOFEN. You were almost as excited as me. Through all of trials and tribulations WE have all endured during my years of FIREWATER use, you and the boys have shown me so much love and support; I will always be grateful to you. All three of our young adult sons seem to have adopted your compassion and "excitement for life" attitudes.
They boys have all watched my countless hours of researching and hoping for a Firwater answer. You gave them the opportunity to see both sides of my struggle and we never hid my problem from them (later in their lives). To you my love, Happy Mothers Day.

Please post if you have any Mother Day Thoughts

    HAPPY MOTHERS' Day

    Hi Spirit

We just returned from lunch with my 93 1/2 year old mother. It seems especially appropriate in light of the discussion about family that we've been having on the other thread to thank all our moms for everything they do for us.

    Best wishes

Cass - thanks for the heads up.. I'm still trying to figure my through the forum and I hope to become a more informed user before long. I will now look for the other thread and I look forward to the reads. And Cass, please share with me (a still somewhat newbie), any ideas or thoughts on how I can better learn (utilize) the forum. And any other ideas from forum users would be appreciated.
      Carl

            HAPPY MOTHERS' Day

            thanks, spiritwolf333,

it's been a nice easy Mother's Day for this mom. I bought and put together a futon couch for my son and planted 10 pine trees and gained confidence and good pride in my skills. later, when it cools down, i'm teaching my son how to mow the lawn. bac's been so good to me!!

Cassander, how cool is it that your mom is still around? I didn't want to hijack that thread either. I was thinking of how so many in society don't want to see anything "messy"--put old, sick people in hospitals instead of keeping and caring for them at home, ignore homeless people and look down on addicts....
