    Abstinence Challenge

Intermittent fasting diet for fat loss, muscle gain and health

Easiest diet and routine I've ever tried.

2-2 1/2 hours lifting heavy in the gym a week and no cardio.

As for gaba b receptors and somatotropin (hgh) release during sleep--give me something to read! I'll chew it up and let you know what I think.

You seriously thought I was serious? Maybe that's why nobody laughs at my jokes.

Ladies, for a good time call: Evan the Pool Boy

Nobody laughed at that joke either. I still think it was brilliantly hilarious.

          Whoa!

Thanks for the heads up Lo0p. I was thinking that an EPB might be another AF beer or something.

It's more of an "AF experience". And it's also a thread killer.

People just come to the rightful conclusion that I'm a psycho and just drive on by as they would a scene of a nasty wreck---in silence, shaking their heads.

                  Abstinence Challenge

Anyway, I'm restarting my fitness and dieting routine today. My version of it calls for no alcohol. So I'm in for now.

My knees are shaking a little bit but I'll let you guys know if I make it through the night. :H But I've never counted days before. So if I forget to report, it probably doesn't mean shit.

Well I don't think you're a psycho, but I will say that it's not exactly easy to banter with your uh, "material".

I'm stoked about this! I think a couple of us are trying to get this whole fitness thing rolling in our recovery and I'd love to hear how it's going for you Are you going to set a AF time goal for yourself?

I don't really count the days regularly anymore either. I have been sans cerveza since we met up about four months ago to test my indifference, but I almost had one today when I was out fishing. I am very tired from being at sea, but I wanted to say hello Lo0p and WELCOME!

Fuck it then. Psycho was kind of what I was shooting for.

But SassyLassy sure as hell seemed more than ready to banter, trade blows or come to some type of...exchange.
And that Lo0p fellow didn't seem to back down either.

There's no AF time goal that I'm shooting for. What counts (and what always counts if fitness goals) are calories. And there is no place for alcohol when you are on a calorie restricted diet.

The goal is to shoot for a weekly deficit of 3500 to 10,000 kcals. So that you're ripping 1-3 lbs pf fat off your frame every week.

Hiya, peeps. I'm working on breaking a sweat and busting-a-move, too. I find that slow and steady works for me better than busting it out all at one time. I also find that restricting stuff, other than booze, doesn't really work out for me. Then I crave it. (CHOCOLATE NOW! CREAM IN MY COFFEE OR I WILL CRY. RIGHT NOW!!!)

                            Which brings me to this:

Yep I agree. Though I would add that there does seem to be some kind of connection between sugar and alcohol and some people experience some kind of cross-transfer of cravings, or one influencing the other in some way... there's much info on google about this if anyone's interested. As many healthy foods as possible and minimizing the sugary stuff is a good idea.

Though I digress, hope I didn't come off as too preachy... lol
