    By the way Sake, are you aware that the "normal" treatment with baclofen for alcohol addiction is to reach a so-called switch dose (which can be quite high) and after that you go down to find a maintenance dose?

    If not, I advice you to read some threads about baclofen

          I've taken bac since mid-Dec last year. I started at 30 mgs like you. I only had to go to 80 mgs and I'm on a maintenance dose of 50-60 mgs/day. I don't really think about it but I've benefitted in so many ways from bac that I doubt I'll stop taking it. I don't over drink, I don't really think about alcohol and I'm not anxious anymore.

          My dr didn't understand how titrating worked and I eventually had to get another dr. For me it was totally worth it.

            Thanks Kronkcarr - I am visiting my doctor at day 7 and I will discuss all of this with her then. I want what you guys have! He husband died of alcoholism so she is very interested in helping people and I'm sure that she will be open to learning more! Thanks!
