I recently came across a USA patent application for the combined use of Baclofen and Campral. I assume that they have developed a strategic method of issuing the two drugs to eliminate total craving and minimize the amount of Baclofen. In our little baclofen world this could be huge. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) we are not the ones making profits from this discovery. However, we are the potential benefactors and we know more than most the success of baclofen. Today, I found where a patent application (USA) has been filed for a mixture of Baclofen and Acamprosate. The patent application was filed on April 11, 2013. I am certainly no expert on patents or medicines but it indicates to me that they are applying for patent that would protect the use of the two drugs as a method for addressing the indicated symptoms.
This patent is filed by a very powerful group of individuals in France. The company name is Pharnext and is based in France.
