Going to the Dr

Im kinda bummed. I was so looking forward to this appointment. I was going to tell him how awesome this experience has been, etc. But after my little episode and going up to 150 mg, I am not really comfortable in my own skin again. I still have good things to talk about. I moderated my drinking 10 times (roughly) for the first time in my life, I havent drinkin in nearly 2 weeks, I havent been doing coke. OK whatever, I'm gonna dazzle this dude. I just had to hear myself say how good it was going.... I'm so screwed hahahaha. I'm honestly hoping to get more than 60 mg a day, so this appt is kinda important. I dont want to be standing at the pharmacy telling them to call Dr L to give me what I want.

Going to the Dr

Ok that was so not worth ever thinking about. Sometimes he totally is involved in what is going on and other times (like today) I don't think he even remembered me. Anyways, there was 0 interest in anything about anything. It was a very quick thing. He checked his handbook to see how much he could legally prescribe. So, I got 80 mg instead of 60... small victory. The good thing is now Dr L can prescribe me within the legal boundaries. So, maybe that will make things easier for him.

Your posts were a touch tough to follow but sounds like your doc is giving you 80. That's about all my regular one would do. Well, he would go higher.

He would have went Dr L dosage high but wanted literature from Dr L just so he had some background. Dr L just started waiving his fees for me. Funny how that worked.

Just stick with Dr L for now. I think a lot of us hope he will be around a long time. He claims to at least have other in line to take over should he retire.
