      Insomnia

I've always wanted a steering wheel on my toaster. A blue one, in the shape of a fluffy dodecahedron.

Failing that, for insomnia caused by baclofen, the only thing that I have found that works is to get up and do something productive. Accept the fact that for a while, your sleep is going to be completely screwed and that you will be waking up, wide, wide awake, at strange hours, and go do something. Stop spending all your waking hours trying to find out how to beat it, because you won't, and it will make you miserable. Just be grateful that you now have 6 extra hours in the day, and try and use them.

Then, just as this mindset sets in, and you start enjoying it, the time will be rudely snatched from you as your sleeping patterns return to normal. You can try going higher to get the insomnia back, but it doesn't work. It's now gone for good, and you will miss it.

      Worked for me, YMMV.

Have you tried the melatonin or honey? May seem like small potatoes but I found them more effective than sleepy tea.

u know whats funny (sad). I asked for help and u all r giving me help and I'm kind of like... man I dont wanna do shit. Maybe I was just kinda hopin someone would put a spell on me where i didnt have to actually walk all the way to the kitchen. Ugh that just seems like a lot of work. Maybe it has to get worse before I take action.

Just being honest...I know I suck.

I am getting a little better. I slept 4 hrs straight last night. I think my SEs are getting less intense.

And btw I took some advice from terry. I broke my doses up into 4. Instead of 50/50/50 I am doing 50/40/30/30. I'm considering 50/50/30/20. The high doses are a lot easier for me earlier in the day. I've also been taking Benadryl at night.

Possibly, the insomnia is no SE, but an alcohol withdrawal effect.

Naaa. I didn't drink often enough to have withdrawal. I'm starting to feel a bit more refreshed and am slowly getting motivated again.

                        Insomnia

Glad to hear you're getting some sleep and feeling more refreshed, JD. I thought I'd mention that I've talked about insomnia and sleep aids in my own thread, if you want to reference that.

Also, about dosage- I actually just do two doses, a morning and an afternoon dose, because if I take a dose closer to bedtime I find the insomnia is worse. You could always try that, though it sounds like the 4 doses is doing well for you. Either way best of luck.
