Sales calls and spam after ordering from pharmacies

Just received a phone call claiming to be from an online pharmacy following up a historic order with a discount offer.

When I asked why they were contacting me, they said I'd once ordered some baclofen.

It is now well over 2 years since I purchased baclofen, or used any online pharmacy.

I am however still receiving daily spam emails(which started shortly after I placed my first order) claiming to be following up previous orders/would I like to reorder and the email addresses change so I can't block them. These had died off a little last year and I thought they'd given up but for no reason at all it started again in the last 6 months, they cite my delivery name and address every time.

    Anyone else had this?

I think I ordered from Goldpharma and perhaps another.

Not very happy to be receiving calls to my personal mobile/emails to a longterm email address like this and think some people really would find it indiscrete.
I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

I ordered from Goldpharma for nearly 2 years before starting to use liquid Bac and have never even had an email from them never mind a phone call.

I ordered from 4nrx but also checked the prices on another site which I cant remember the name of. I get daily emails saying its a follow up from my order with my home address on it. These are sent as if from a different person (different name) each time and from different email addresses.

I do find this not only annoying but worrying that they have my home address. I stopped ordering online meds last year and these started arriving around 5 months ago.

This is EXACTLY what I've been getting and culminating in today's phonecall. I have a suspicion one of the sites I've ordered with has sold my details on. Like you they use the address they sent my order to.

Just checked and I did place ONE order with 4rx at the beginning of 2011, so I assume it's they who have passed on my details.

I have emails that have just started popping up in my inbox recently saying it's time for a refill with the home address on it that I used maybe 2-3 years ago now (the last time I needed to place an international order).

          Goldpharma is my best guess.

I have emailed GP directly asking them about this. They say they are a legit, professionally run company and would never pass on personal details.

I am now contacting 4rx these are the only 2 companies I've ordered with, and I'll let you all know their answer. If both deny it then I will just have to warn buyers it could be either company.

If one would just own up and offer to remove my details I'd be over the moon and most impressed, but I very much doubt this is going to happen.

                Right.

Both Goldpharma and 4rx say they'd never sell details on.

They would say that wouldn't they.

Someone has and I've no way of telling whom.

This is 2 1/2 years down the line, I get all my meds from my GP(personal Dr in UK). I have to assume the pharmacies are lying, it could be either one or both.

Best to be aware of this before placing any order.

I too have been receiving the same emails and phone calls (from what a reverse phone number web search has shown is "Canadian Pharmacy, Cleveland, OH". I have also only ordered from 4rx.com and Goldpharma.

                  Here's some info:

I believe that 4rx.com was shut down in India around 2011-12 for some time, MWO member "Sprat" discusses it here: https://www.mywayout.org/community/f2...ers-54436.html

At that point I did some research about the company, because I also had some sneaking suspicions about the quality of their baclofen, I found this (back then but never posted it, because I assumed they were out of business for good):

There's a bunch of info in there (most of it inflammatory) but the gist is that 4rx.com is owned/run by a Canadian national named Ioan Biris (a pretty unique name).

A search for Ioan Biris turns up:

Thanks for this, yes that was the number I received a phone call from. Definitely looks like 4rx.

Im still getting them and am assuming they could go on indefinately until whatever copmpany is sending them out goes out of business.

Mine come saying they are from a person and use a different made up name every day asking me to confirm order so that they can send it out to my own name and adress. It then has a link to do this but I have never followed the link as I dont know if it will put a virus on my pc or even worse get my bank details from it.

I havent tried to contact any companies but think they are just going to deny selling details.

I now just ignore and delete them, I cant send them straight to junk because of all the different names.

Still bothers me tho with them having my name and address and also knowing that I have bought meds online in the past.

I just got my first call last night. I have only ever ordered from River. I read another post saying their prices have gone up, so I'm wondering if this is another revenue stream for them.
Well it's all right now. I've learned my lesson well. You see you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself.

FWIW, I am also getting these, referring to the address in the UK where I ordered my one and only shipment of online baclofen. I think it 4rx, but I can't remember. There isn't really anything to be done that I know of, unless we can convince terryk to perform some internet ninja move on them that I am unaware of.
