It sound as though he helped a lot of people. It's a bummer that the only Yelp commentary is negative on this very topic. I think there are important follow up questions that some asked before so that we can adequately manage our illness. I'm wondering if, with a court case, exchange of advice should be on the boards.
Maybe I'm just being too cautious? I''ll stop after venturing this. Also, if not here, then where, especially for the neophytes who needs solutions? There needs to be a movement. Unfortunately, it requires coming out of the closet. I'm not there yet. I'm just figuring out the bac part, and I have been a member of the community since 2007, just not successful until recently despite horrible SEs. That's a very sad thought for me. It's a horrible thought that all possibility of change could be lost. OK, so bac has me trend negative and morose. I have no idea if my total apocalyptic thinking of options shutting down is illogical or not.
Grrr, the NSA, the MAN, and professional regulation, which is totally necessary, I get it, and not to disparage Dr. OA and Dr. L's collective profession. I know that HIV positive survivors from the 80's and 90's, as few as they are, know what we are talking about. A lot of them had to fend for themselves off the grid until general practice took caught up. I witnessed much of that and helped. I get helpless for myself though. It's a weird thing when going to the corner liquor store is easier than doing what you have to do to take care of yourself, your family and others, by law!
