Holy Basil

I have a pretty hung strung personality. Now complied with the anxiety of not drinking I do not want to become dependant on presecription medicine. The health food store suggested Holy Basil as a stress/anxiety reliever. Has anyone tried or heard of this?

Anti-Booze Drugs

The last time I tried to quit drinking I tried Medication, the only one I remember by name was 'Topamax' there were a bunch more whose names escape me. I went to see a specialist for stopping the evil liquids, who seemed more than happy to give me a huge sackfull of free samples, so big I could hardly carry them all, plus a bunch of prescriptions for other stuff.
I walked out of that surgery with my head held high thinking god it's that easy 'Im cured'. I religously took all the little pills as directed, though didn't feel so good, but I wasn't going to drink as I had the cure in the big bag, well I lasted 9 day's, the urge to drink was so strong and the excuse was I had the answer in these pills, I carried on getting lashed day in day out and threw the pills away, Happy to say this current attempt is medicine free and this is day 117, in other word's the pill's didn't work for me though that's not to say they wont work for you.
It is cheaper doing it without pills !!!!
