    Dr. Levin's dosing schedule

I know this is a tall order, but I have an appointment with a new GP in the morning. I have the translation of the French dosing guide to baclofen, but I'd like to go in with the schedule Dr. Levin dictated to me over the phone as well and I can't find it! If might be better to PM it to me given Dr. L's current issues instead of having it publicly accessible on the internet.

Also, anyone out there on topiramate (topamax)? I'm thinking that might be better suited for me since I have alcohol-related high blood pressure and cholesterol, and topiramate has been known to negate those two symptoms.

Also, anyone heard of ondansetron? It's an anti-nausea drug given to chemo patients, but is showing promise in treating early-onset alcoholics, who according to the criteria outlined by the National Institute for Alcohol and Alcoholism, "develop problem drinking before age 25, greater family history of alcoholism, increased propensity for antisocial behaviors, and a more stable and severe disease state than those with late-onset alcoholism." My understanding, though, is that the drug is only successful if certain genetic factors are present.

It's exciting to see the pace of scientific addiction research picking up.
In the middle of my life's journey, I found myself in a dark wood, as I had lost the straight path. It is a difficult thing to speak about, how wild, harsh and impenetrable that wood is. Just thinking about it recreates the fear. It is scarcely less bitter than death, but in order to tell of the good that I found there, I must tell of the other things I saw there. --Dante, paraphrased
