Hello there. I read My Way Out a few years ago and tried Topomax with great results..drank and still do only red wine in the evenings and try for weekends only ..I was impressed that I had no desire to have a second or sometimes third after two of them..so would like to start this again, several years later. i was worried about taking meds as I dont even get a flu shot and hate to take pills but now I am drinking a bottle or sometimes two in an evening on a weekend and being alone thats not good. Im retired now. I cant afford it either. So my doctor who is very cool has asked me to tell him the name and he will prescribe. I think I was taking 75 mg a day three times or is there an introductory doseage or what? I have to phone the pharamacist. Im in Canada.
