    RIP LoOp

Thankyou Mandiekinz. My heartfelt and sincere condolences to his friends and family. What a really sad loss to us all here. He was a champion! A true pioneer and such a good man. My heart goes out to all who loved him and those whose lives he touched.

    RIP LoOp.

You appeared to me to be a real decent man. Thanks for your passion and commitment for the work that you've done.

Evan took everything he had, his entire being, and put it toward helping this community heal.

The number of lives he's touched here, and the impact he has made on each of them cannot be overstated.

I'm terribly saddened by his passing, and my heart goes out to his family in this most difficult time.

              Strange

I was just at the "other" forum and it showed LoOp to be online and having posted something a few minutes ago.

                RIP LoOp

I'm not numb or in shock, he was a great guy I just prefer to have facts rather than a first post, or 3rd hand info then I can start processing it properly. I had a rocky start with Loop but turns out it was a plain misunderstanding, and I am so glad I had the telephone conversation with him. He apologised for not supporting me when I wanted to come off the baclofen, and onto other things more successful for me. I reiiterated that perhaps I needed that resistance to make me so determined enough I'd prove anyone wrong (I do quite a bit of this in my life!) and thus stuck to TSM rigidly.

Anyhow if he has passed on from this world I have that conversation to cherish with me always.

                    RIP LoOp

I have his texts and voice messages...he was honestly the sweetest guy I had the honor of knowing.

I live 3 hours away from his home. Is there going to be a service? I'm so sad.

I googled for an obit and did not find one. Perhaps it is too soon.

RIP LoOp and peace to the family.

                        RIP Lo0p

i am sorry for confusing everyone. this is lo0ps mom. i am using his computer not realizing anyone would know i was lerking as lo0p would call it. its comforting to see all the wonderful comments thank you all for being a support system for him. i am sorry to tell you it is true . I can tell you it was not due to alcohol. H e did still like to dabble in things a bit and would take benzos to help him sleep. It will be a few months for the lab work to come back but are saying more than likly it's an overdose. my suggestion to you is to please continue his mission in helping people find the help they need. if you are a high dose bac user please becareful using other substances. i am sure it was not on purpose he was still young and invincible.

Renee, I can't fathom how you are feeling. Many of us never met Evan in person, but knew him virtually or via phone or text. We all know what a great and special boy/man you had.

Thank you for posting. I'm using an emoticon in honor of Lo0p because he loved them so.:upset:

I was fortunate enough to have been able to meet Evan in person a couple of times. He was every bit as charming and intelligent and special in real life. I owe him so much. He will always be with me.

Thank you for posting Renee. You and your family are in my thoughts now. I am so sorry for your loss.
