I'm curious if the amount of drinking is related to baclofen trigger

I understand that this would not be a pure study, but I was wondering if any of you would be willing to give some data on how much you were drinking and what your trigger dose was.

If I was given a decent amount of data I could run it through SPSS and provide some basic stats.

I will try to give an example,

2 liters of wine at 15% alcohol starting at 3 pm. Trigger at 200 mg.

If anyone has a better way to arrange the data I would appreciate the feedback.

There's another thread on here that specifically addresses this- I'm about to go to work and can't dig it up but everyone more or less chimes in and the conclusion is that the switch dose is proportional to the amount of alcohol consumed before taking bac.

I'm interested though- what kind of numbers are you looking to crunch? I'd be willing to contribute. My estimation is that from my nervous meltdown in 2009 to my switch in 2012 I averaged about 4.5 drinks a night, every night.

Would you intend to integrate this into a lumped value or start from the average daily intake?

perhaps we should do a survey to get some hard numbers

Meh. It's maybe slightly related. People seem to switch at 90, 180, 240, and 320 a lot of the time for some reason. But have at the database if you like.

                I was 6-8 beers + 500-600ml of whiskey nightly. Switched at 240.

But, you are not taking bac now?

                  Not trolling,

12 beers (12 Oz) every 3 days or so. Switched at 90 mgs (first time)
Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

I switched at 80 mgs. I drank 1/2-1 bottle of wine most nights and probably always over drank at parties.

There was a really good thread on this awhile back, possibly years back that I read through...I'll have to dig it back up.

Drank (4)half-pints, or (2) pints, or (1) fifth of vodka, plus whatever else I could find daily...so approx 950mL from the moment my eyes opened. Titrated up to 320mg...now down to 240mg comfortably.

350ml of scotch or roughly 10 standard drinks a night, switch at 295mg. also combined with generalized anxiety disorder and a dual addiction to opiate and on and off benzo abuse.

It might be worth mentioning if you had an accompanying mental illness and any other addictions. In the UK study, there was a paragraph mentioning that the amount drunk, accompanying mental illness and other addictions were correlated to the switch dose required i.e. the more wrong with you, the higher the switch required.
