Hi all just a question to anyone who has ever tried this shot .. Just trying to learn more about it because my boyfriend just started it last month. He first started with the pill form of naltrexone and seemed distant and not himself. He stopped it due to "head aches" and I noticed him being more himself without it being confirmed that he had stopped taking it. Now a month later he got the vivitrol injection and his mood seems to be distant as when he took the pill form. I'm just wondering if anyone can relate I'm not sure if this is him trying to adjust to sobriety or if this medication is actually altering his personality/mood. He's coming up on two months clean in three days. Any advice is appreciated
