I don't see why the pharmacy wouldn't refill your prescription. Bac is not a drug of abuse. My pharmacy has offered in the past to refill 3 months at a time, and my prescriptions are for very high dosages (190 mgs/day). Why not try to refill it?

Baclofen W/D Help (Urgent)
Pharmacy might refill it, especially since you don't have to go through insurance. Just tell them you're traveling abroad soon or something, or you just want to have a supply on hand. When you go in don't act like you're doing something wrong - because you're not.

Baclofen W/D Help (Urgent)
Not a doctor, all the usual disclaimers, etc...
You should be absolutely fine. I would say that anything you are feeling now is most probably entirely in your head. That's not to say that it makes it any more pleasant though. I would just try and forget that you had ever taken it, until you get a regular supply, then resume where you left off. This will only become an issue when you have been on it for a couple of months, or so the literature says.
I haven't withdraw from baclofen, but I take mine in one daily dose. Occasionally I forget, and then take it the next day, so 48 hours without a dose, without any symptoms of withdrawal.
Try and relax, not easy when you think you are on the verge of meltdown. You're not!

Baclofen W/D Help (Urgent)

Thanks to everyone for the support last night.
It's just been a long time since I've had to deal with this on any level, and with a family and special needs daughter, the added stress of knowing I can't just fall apart for a few days or a week to get through it I guess makes it worse.
Plus, I don't know if it's this way for anyone else, but I definitely have a mild PTSD manifested from some of my past withdrawals. So whenever I look up something and see w/d I freak. Especially when there are life threatening issues involved. Cold turkey w/d from a bad IV Dilaudid and Herion 2 year binge in jail with no medical support was quite a hell - but in the back of my mind, as with all opiate w/d, I at least knew I wasn't going to die.
As for a status report, I took Neurontin and Xanax before going to sleep finally last night. Slept through the night, but woke up early with that anxiety, shaky,
impending doom, don't want to get up, can't stay down feeling. Finally got up, took my regular Xanax dose, ate. Started feeling very, very uncomfortable so I took another Neurontin. We'll see how that helps.
Lastly, and again I'm sorry for so long, but I keep reading that it could take up to 4 days for w/d symptoms to manifest. Can anyone explain how this is possible on such a short acting drug?

Because the blood half life is only 4 hours, doesn't mean that the effects on the brain are also short acting.Today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Yeah. Now I'm worried again.

Really, 2 weeks is not enough time to develop dependency. I still say give the pharmacy a shot, but otherwise put it out of your head and pretend you never took anything at all. Feeling not bad is good.
Edit: though yes, it can take a few days for w/d symptoms to manifest - same with alcohol - but in sure you're fine though I'm not a doctor, etc.

Shorter time period today to take the 45, but I'm guessing a little build up faster won't hurt, right?
