    USA forum etc.

    I was looking at the Lo0p site and noticed that he had actually set up a charitable entity. Some of us here have the same idea and we are putting together an "Ameisen Foundation". The websites I set up in the UK an US are being rebranded and I have drafted a constitution. The only funding is what I have put towards it. Does anyone know if Lo0ps paperwork is still around and whether we can go ahead with this. I would also like to integrate the sites with the baclofenforalcoholism forum in case this site shuts down. I think we need a platform for putting pressure on the establishment to do more about this issue, not only on a medical front but also in areas which are impacted by changes in a view of a condition being medical and not just a poor exercise of decision making powers. Such as, for instance, the legal world where, despite whatever you do about this illness, you are still stigmatized by it.

    Any thoughts?

      How long has that been up & running? it looks great! Can I message you somehow off site about it? I'm still a newbie to this site having given up on L00p's site beause of lack of activity, so I don't know quite how things work. There was a messaging system on the other site.

                      I have lost touch. I was really just wondering what happened to the liquid baclofen situation and whether the forum is still running. I assume LB isn't being sold anymore from what I have heard and the forum was kind of linked to that so I figured there wasn't any interest in it anymore.

                        Really glad to see this project surfacing. Evan says, "About effin' time!" I haven't been around much at all, but I did post a bit about this here: Phoenix Risen Research LLC - Pulverizing Synchronicity - Baclofen For Alcoholism and Other Addictions

                        I will return to post additional information there as quickly as possible. And yes, Otter, this legal entity can be used to accept tax-deductible donations - within the parameters of "health research and education" for individuals and groups anywhere. There's a considerable amount of paperwork to follow through with, but Evan did the biggest part of what had to be done. The template for moving "Phoenix Risen Research, LLC" quickly into a 501(c)(3) Public Charity with tax-deductible donation status is a model of "Fiscal Sponsorship." The agency I work with, which received this status in 1984, has opted for "Model C," if anyone wants to understand how this works to further what was actually Evan's passion - far more than making and selling LB. I'll get over there asap.

                            You know...being off grid and hopping in here with the rattling of my cage from Kronk, to see THIS...is just amazing.

                            It's really difficult for me to get on here, even by phone as the reception I have here is horrible...but I'm so pleased to read that Evan and this movement still has the impeccable support it deserves. I will be with RedThread soon and will be back to work with the forums.
