What are you going to do today?
Ha!
I'm living on the edge by swimming unchaperoned in the bay, and you're running (?!) off to fight wild beasties on Mt. Everest. bite me.
I never did make it to the beach. I got all ready, with all necessary supplies, (probably as much as bleep is taking with him) only to remember that we'd dropped my car off at the mechanic. sheesh.
Back to plan Friday for Monday. Then I'm going shopping for stuff I don't need.
STUCK! You're officially living in sin! Congratulations!! (Take a deep breath. You can still look at other women's breasts. Albeit hopefully more discretely.)
It is gorgeous here this morning. The sky is all pink and lavender and it makes me happy for a second and a half.
Hope it's a good day, peeps.

Tonight, I'm just watching my favorite little critters, in between watching tv. I recently bought more cracked corn and sunflower seeds to refill my (long-since-forgotten-about) squirrel and chipmunk feeder. Some women turn into crazy old cat ladies. Well, I'm a crazy rodent lady. I love my skittish little creatures. I guess I relate to them too much. Who couldn't love their little faces? Wait. Don't answer. I already have coworkers who would readily take a gun to my poor little friends. They're viewed as a nuisance. And yeah, we had a chipmunk break-in last time I fed them. It took two days to get him out of our house. But, hey, they're pretty god d&mn adorable, you have to admit.

I love squirrels. I'm not at all sure why. But I don't really understand why people get upset when squirrels eat out of bird feeders because it's almost always funny. Anyway...
Our dog was a hunter. She didn't kill 'em, but she was definitely fast enough to catch them and make them cry for mercy. We stopped doing anything that might attract any rodents because it was terrible to watch how much fun she had at their expense. She's been gone a little over a month now and the squirrels and rabbits are downright cheeky. When I go out, they don't bother to move! I love it, but I hope they don't get used to it. There's another husky on the horizon (I hope!) and well, it'll be a new sheriff in town.
