Baclofen: Your Honest Opinion!!!!

Read with great interest Dr. Olivier Ameisen experience with AA (ugh) and then finding Baclofen. I was wondering if anyone out there has tried it with any success and where I can get it w/o a prescription. I'm on Topa now with moderate success and Kudzu but always open to new drugs that curb the cravings. Had a hard enough time with my doc to get the Topa so don't think he'll buy into the Baclofen.

We bought 88 10mg tablets of baclofen from CBC in India but did not use because, sadly, a mean case of pancreatitis intervened. Well motivated by the excruciating pain, we've been off alcohol for a year. I'd be pleased to send you gratis our unused, foil wrapped tablets if we could figure out a way to do it without violating the rules of this excellent website.

Hi Anthony! Would u give me your email address? I have tried Naltrexone but would just drink more so i would feel drunk. Campral did nothing for me. Am now on the Kudzu and L_Glutamine but still drinking 3 glasses of wine and need to acheive abstinence. Does Baclofen have side effects?

Baclofen newbie, freaking out!
Hi,
This is my first time on a forum, ever. Please excuse me as I am learning the ropes.
I am a 42yr old alcoholic from Auckland, New Zealand.
I have been on Baclofen for 3 weeks. I have now titrated up to 60mgs. My hair is really starting to fall out! I am pretty certain it is the Baclofen. Has anyone else here had this experience?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
