Hi I am new I recently started topamax no side effects up to 100 mg but also no decrease in cravings almost an increase should I continue to increase or does this drug take longer to work for this benefit I am a nurse so I know it has a 20 hr life but getting concerned maybe this is not correct medication for me

Hi Tany - I had to get up to the full 300 mg before Topa worked for me ..... I thought it was NEVER going to work - but then it did - it is different for everyone. Good luck and feel free to PM me if you have any questions.....
