Baclofen and being tired
About two weeks now. 60 mg. Just makes me ... blah? Probably not the right word, but it's the first one that came to mind. But I have a reminder on my phone when to take it, every time it pops up, I get complacent and feel like I shouldn't because it makes me tired. I do take it, just for the long road. I'm glad to hear it wears off, though.

Most people divide the daily dose over a few doses, usually 2 or 3. What is your dosage and how many times per day are you taking it?
EDIT- just saw your dosage info. Keep taking the pills, you'll feel less blah soon. And try to force some AF days, it'll help the bac work better and the SE's and blahness less crappy. Do more reading here, lots of info...

If you just keep taking the damned pills, you, too will quit craving alcohol - job or no job. Really. Read around this board - that's what happens. Then the BIG picture - life without intoxication - arises. Again, reading around this board, you'll find confidence that it is totally doable. If you enjoy the unusual, be mindful and intentional as you titrate up to your "switch" dose. It's pretty weird, actually. It may take some finesse, but it works.

The sleepiness sucks, but you get used to it. I'm back at 80mg and as long as I'm not drinking my wine at night the SEs are low. Drinking exacerbates them.

Baclofen and being tired
Just chiming in to confirm what everyone says somnolence and near all side effects went away after about 1-2 months, hard to remember when exactly. The only remaining side effect is that when im tired I get double vision easily, this is because baclofen is a muscle relaxer.
Keep at it, I got frustrated too, I had to push up to 300mg to reach indifference, everyone is different. There is a member on the board that takes nearly 500mg, though these higher doses are the exception, so don't worry too much.01-01-2014 - Indifference reached, success with high dose Baclofen 295mg.
