Prescribing doctor for Baclofen in London

Can anyone help me find a doctor who prescribes baclofen for alcoholism in London? I need this urgently. Thanks.

He is now with a rehab clinic in Scotland and doesn't go to London anymore. Does anyone know any doctors who prescribe in London or even the south of England???

ps. That was me under a different name cuz I forgot my password and couldn't find the reset button.

In addiction, suppression of symptoms should suppress the disease altogether since addiction is, as he observed, a "symptom-driven disease". Of all "anticraving medications used in animals, only one - baclofen - has the unique property of suppressing the motivation to consume cocaine, heroin, alcohol, nicotine and d-amphetamine"

That's odd as I had contact with him earlier in the week and have arranged to meet him in Harley Street, but not until June.

Anyway, Otter, I can help you out with emergency baclofen. How much do you need? PM me.

Very, very surprised to hear that. I would imagine that - his own circumstances allowing - he would still be travelling through London to international conferences and would make every effort to see folk there at Harley Street, as he has always done in the past.

I know there is the odd doctor/addiction specialist in the south of England prescribing Baclofen as I first met someone with a prescription around five years ago. I'm sure there are others who have got a prescription by printing out the info from Lo0p's 'Consolidated Baclofen Information' thread and simply seeing their GP (if - and it's a big 'if' purely in my experience - that GP is half decent).
