Price has doubled!

I just saw the change at River today. Looks like they are stocking the 'real' Baclofen now, but as you stated, not the cheaper generics. It's twice the price! I'll be looking for other options. Thanks for the tip re. Gold Pharma

Goldpharma do Myra which is what I get from a legit pharmacy in the uk but they also do loads of others. The 25mg is much better value but they did only take payment before through money transfer which costs about £25 in the uk so you need to add this to the price you see plus other little things they add on

Uh Oh
I spoke with River. They have taken the cheaper generic off the site because they had some complaints recently that it wasn't as effective and they had to do some refunds. They said there have been no issues for years, but because of the recent feedback, they now only stock Lioresal. Both of the links (Baclofen and Baclofen (Lioresal)) will result in the same product.
I was unable to order Baclofen at the GoldPharma site. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Maybe the site doesn't work well with a Mac. I did find Pacifen at inHouse, but they only have 10 mg. Still cheaper than Lioresol, but will result in taking a boat load of pills.

Just to say I have placed two orders with InHouse and they have both arrived quickly and seem from my experience to be reliable. The brand is called Pacifen, but it is baclofen. I mix them with my prescription ones and they seem to be fine.
The only issue I have with them, and it is a small one, is the payment system, which requires a money order via some New Zealand system. It is a bit fiddly. Very reasonable prices!

One other thing to think about: Considering all the success stories regarding baclofen and AUD, it is extremely unlikely they were taking the same brand.
IMO, the different brands are more likely to be all the same as they contain the baclofen molecule and that is regulated. Chances are they use the same or very similar "chemical" recipe in their baclofen production and the pills purity is also likely to be similar as these pharmacies are regulated.
This really hits me as River was the cheapest out there and I cannot afford the higher prices. They also took a credit card. It couldn't have been more convenient.
Possibly, if we convinced them to change their terms of agreement, they will make the more affordable bac available again. I do not see why they should be made to refund for a product they do not make. They have always been very dependable and helpful. I have not encountered any other pharmacy like them. They were always there to talk to you and I always felt like they truly cared.
Is there another non-prescription pharmacy out there that gives refunds? I don't know.
To me this is bad news

Having recommended Inhouse several times, I just tried to place an order, had my credit card refused, & tried to do the OrbitRemit thing which as Mentium says is unbelievably fiddly. In the end I gave up & have ordered form a new place - Sunshine Pharmacy. They, like Inhouse, are based in Oceania, prices are equivalent (I think) & they take a credit card. I don't want to use anywhere that sources from the Indian subcontinent because I have had an order seized by UK customs as wrongly labelled - they label stuff as "herbal supplements", I think to avoid customs charges. Having said that, I don't know how his new place operates. Fingers crossed.
I will give feedback when the order arrives.

They asked me to send copies of passport & a bank statement, I didn't see a form.
I just checked with Visa with regard to the Sunshine Pharma transaction & nothing has gone through on my card, plus no email confirmation of order, so this looks like a non starter.
Ho hum. Back to Inhouse.Last edited by Molly78; November 16, 2015, 08:00 PM.

Spoke to River again
Spoke to River again a few hours ago. They kicked me up to someone named Deb (is this Debbie the coach?). She agreed to sell me the generic and promised to send a paypal invoice which I haven't seen yet. There were apparently two people that complained. She mentioned having to see if she could reinstate the generic temporarily and place an order. I mentioned that there were others interested in the generic brand and she said to call in to the number to order. She stated that she had something available that started with a Z. Zaclophen? I couldn't find that via Google though so I'm slightly nervous. I will let you know if I'm able to order. I'm willing to be the guinea pig to see if it's any good.Last edited by Mom21961; November 16, 2015, 10:19 PM.

I received the PayPal invoice from River. I was able to use my credit card and did not have to log into a PayPal account. I asked them to send the same quantity as my last order. When the invoice came through, it was for the same amount as well. I did find Zaclofen on the web which is what I believe I'll be getting.
