Naltrexone, etc prices CAN vs USA
When it comes to american's coming to canada to purchase drugs; I'm not sure which are cheaper. The pharmacist tells me american's come all the time to purchase drugs because they are cheaper in Canada. Not in the case of Naltrexone! The wiki for Naltrexone says a tablet is 0.91$ USD and in Canada its roughly 8$ CAD per tablet. I'm not sure why I can't purchase naltrexone in the USA and return it to Canada for roughly a tenth (9th actually) of the price. Any american's able to confirm that the price is about a dollar a tablet???
So break downs as far as I can see in terms of what alcoholics use regularly for maintenance, rehabilitation and withdrawal (typical Canadian methods other than Baclofen which is rarely prescribed if ever). These are off the top of my head on some but very close and not including pharmacist fill charges. The best categorization I could come up with, but many are used cross purpose.
