Thanks Gabby, I just returned from counselor, valium is a benzo and they were 10 mgs. She said I bottomed out due to blood pressure meds, since no drinkie I may not need BP meds? He (that 2 headed man) had me so stressed out I took the pills, although I will now leave and go to a meeting or stay elsewhere.

You are doing so well and things WILL get better for you.

Glad to hear your blood pressure is back more normal without the drink.

Stressed For A Drink...

HEY~ALL.

I made it through a rough week. Had those valiums last week and then tried pot on Saturday. BAD....3 puffs I was so messed up I wasn't myself and found it to be worthless. Not doing that again, removed the bone from house and its not coming back. Today is Monday and I feel good....101 days, not counting anymore. Going to Florida tomorrow AM. won't be back till next SAT. nite. Everyone work on ODAT & as I will too, see ya Saturday Nite 1/26/08.

Have a good time in Florida....you've had a ruff couple of weeks - I just caught up on this thread....but YOU DID IT!!!! And be proud of that - very proud! Pot sucks. Ugh. And 20mg Valium.....sheesh....! UGH!! That'll take a few days to get out properly...!! But you're just fab..... big hug!!

Love to you.....yes, the 100 club where you are spot on, we stop counting and just enjoy ODAT!

came back rested, although I felt tension immediately at home. oddly I sat between two men on flight, both addiction specialists, from Connecticut, both were recovered alcoholics, what an interesting discussion then a hand shake and off we were. Still sober!
