    Confident but scared

Now, I'm pushing day 30 and I still go to the sauna and steam room every day. Then I soak in a hot bath of one cup each of epsom salts and baking soda for 20 minutes (no longer) which helps draw toxins. I drink filtered water with lemon the whole time. I took me around 3 weeks before I began sleeping. My rhythm was quite askew during that time, but it does plane out. Good luck, you can kame it!

I've worked these events before too. I can imagine how hard it will be, but it sounds like a great opportunity. You can always use the excuse that everyone uses as other social events -- "I'm on medication." It doesn't matter if it is a social event or a wine tasting to boost your career. If you really were on medication and could not drink, it woudln't matter.

Hope that helps, and good luck! Is your show national or local?

Day 10 for me was a turning point too. Double digits! Hang in there and let us know how it's going.
To answer your question- my show is local but hopefully will be picked up by the Food Network.

Thanks for the advice. My appetite was back in full swing last nite and I cheated. Not with al but food. I have been eating healthy and also great portion control. I have lost 7 pounds. I am sure most of it is water but still..........

Last nite I wanted a sandwich of some sort. I love burgers and frankly, when I have PMS I go nuts with food. I went to the grocery across the street and got some ham. I ate a ham sandwich with chips. It was great. I feel the salt today but I will drink a lot of water. I also gained a pound. Oh well, it is better than waking up feeling like crap.

Yesterday was the first day I didn't have diarrhea. I know that sound disgusting and sorry but I was so excited.

So, today is day 9. Oh my God. I can't believe it. Ok, I don't want to think about it too much.

I wasn't aware of the epsom salt/baking soda thing for toxins. I will get some today.

I fell asleep earlier last night but had weird dreams. 2nd nite in a row. It's ok. I journal them.

I am just going to live in the moment and pray that I can do this on a permanent basis.
