    time to try again

    hey everyone. I am battling myself and this alcohol demon again. This will be third time that I'm going to say "no more"

    Last year i went 135 days without a single drink, but for some reason decided to have a beer. that was back in May and i have not slowed down since including a super binge this weekend.

    please say a prayer for me, I am going to see my doctor this morning.

    Good luck gottatry. Hope all goes well at the docs. 135 days is awsome, so u know u have it in you. Hope everything goes well.

        Gotta,

        I am saying a prayer right now for you. I know how badly it hurts, especially after you have done so well.

        Good luck with the doctor and keep coming back here.

        Bear (MDBiker) always told me to keep trying, one time it would stick. He also told me that only failure is giving up trying to quit.

        He was a wise, kind, loving man who had gone through horrendous relapses and binges himself and was very happy and sober for over a year.

        Do not beat yourself up, remember you can only change today and cannot redo yesterday.

                              thanks again. Doctor's visit went well, he was very understanding and we discussed a couple of things. We decided to try Topamax... wish me luck
