    Worried, lazy, frustrated

    Hi everyone:

I am in desperate need for advice. I have continued to drink 12-14 light beers daily and I just looked into the mirror and the far outside of my eyes look a little yellow. My right side under my abdomen hurts and I know my liver is most likely inflamed. I have red splotches that look like dry spots on my chest, upper abdomend and upper thighs.

I am so afraid that I can't stop. I have tried, but go into severe anxiety. I have the books and the supplements, but my mind alone can send me into a tizzy.

Has anyone experienced great results with the milk thistle? I need to listen to the cds again, but mostly need to post here, daily, hourly, minute by minute if need be.

Oh, my husband is divorcing me....thought that would be a sobering call, just makes me want to drink more......

    Thanks for listening

Hi Struggles I hope you make an appointment with your doctor really soon. We're not doctors here and so we can't diagnose but if it is your liver you have a good chance of getting better if you catch it right away. Also while you are there you can talk with your doc about your drinking and maybe before you go you can read up on the thread about some of the meds and supplements you can take to help you with your problem. It helps if you have a list when you go to the doc so you don't forget the questions you have. Good luck!
