Hey Karl. Its great to hear from you. As you may know your posts were one of the first i read when coming on this site, and the ones i remember because the wine intake was similar to mine.
Im going to be honest here. Blunt. You must stop kidding yourself. Thinking you can just drink beer and somehow by a miracle stay off the wine is nonsense mate. If you were, and i was able to do that there would not be alcoholics in the world. Once you get a certain amount of beer down your neck you will drink wine. You and i know that is the case. We have gone to far to moderate my friend. We will always end up where you were yesterday. No ifs, no buts that is the truth.
I am no doctor, nor do i really know you, but i am an alcoholic and may drug of choice is wine.
Without letting go of the booze, it will be difficult to move on with your life, your emotional feelings and the depression and paranoia that im sure is coming after a binge.
If you ever need to chat pm me mate. I feel we have alot in common on the drinking front. Would happily give you a call and talk.
      All the best.
      To Infinity And Beyond!!

GYCO. yes i cant belive hes not in jail either. he has now had 3 AVO's served on him from 3 different people. the legal system here in australia is F#cked. i see him in the city sometimes, and im scared one day i just wont be able to hold back and do what he does to others..

CYMRU: i know your right, its just well its hard. i love going to the city in the afternoon and have a beer or two and watch the people walk by. most days i can moderate. 90% of the time now.. so im getting better at it.

I know i have had my chances and been forgivn by lots of people because of my drinking. but well its hard not too just have a beer or two in the afternoon. i work outside most days in the boiling hot weather and its so nice to just relax with a cold beer in the afternoon. and 'Unwind'

        just wish me luck

thanks all for welcoming me back. and thinking of me..
