My daughter had horrible liver pain, throwing up all the time. Hair falling out, actual bald spots on her head!!

Turned out it was liver damage.

Once she quit drinking, and she took all the supplements from here, I bought them for her, it took about 3 months for the damage to start to repair.

Today she is beautiful, healthy and pregnant.

But she had to quit, totally.

She told me yesterday that she truly believes that if she ever were to start drinking again, the damage would come back quickly and she would be in worse shape than when she quit very quickly. The doctors at Mayo told her that.

I used to think I could just take milk thistle and other supps and just keep abusing myself. nope.

If you go alcohol free (especially if your overweight or a junk food addict etc) expect some pain in your liver region for 4-12 weeks. This because the liver isn't processing alcohol but the weeks, months,years of stored toxins in your fat cells and other areas.

Everything I read says that the liver does not feel pain. What is up with that. We have all felt it. It must be the surrounding area causing the pain and not the organ itself?

Been there, done it, puked on my t-shirt. One time I couldn't get out of bed for 3 days. Not even to drink water. I'd throw it up. One time a doctor told me it takes about 6 months for the enzymes to return to normal. But I've yet to get 2 day 1of this AF others talk about.:new:
