        Liver Pain?

OK, I have noticed that I am very Tri-Polar after quiting. I'm one of three emotions. Extremely happy, Extremely Angry, or Extremely Depressed.

I think the Nic and the Al masked these feelings.

Just another thing to deal with.

            80% Happy 10% & 10%

I think Relationship problems are the issue.

Don't know, The Doc recommended Wellbutrin. I may have to break down and go on it. I just don't want to be on meds forever.

              Liver Pain?

I take prozac and have for almost a year...I am just starting to come off it now but honestly, it really helped me....I think if you suffer from situational depression they can be really helpful...

                Liver Pain?

I think it will help me but the question is will it just mask things just like the Al and Nic did?

I should probably give it a try.

                  Liver Pain?

I think they work in a different way from AL and Nic..but have a chat to your doc about your concerns. Maybe he/she can put your mind at rest?
The trouble with having massive mood swings is that it can act as a trigger to send us straight back to AL and nicotine....

                      Hi Jake,
You might be better off starting your own thread in the Just Starting out Section, I think you will get more replies that way.
Welcome to MWO though and I am sure you will get lots of support very soon

                            Google Liv 52. It works.

Charlygirl what a good idea to remind people what Al liver disease looks like. As the relationship between drinking and AL liver disease is complex., it is important to emphasise that not all heavy drinkers develop alcoholic hepatitis, and the disease can occur in people who drink only moderately or binge just once. Though damage from alcoholic hepatitis often can be reversed if you stop drinking, the disease is likely to progress to cirrhosis and liver failure if you don't. If u develop alcoholic hepatitis you'll need to avoid alcohol and other substances that harm your liver. So a sobering thought for us all this morning.
