    I get terrible nightmares too! I'm almost never sober, but when I dont drink, i can hardly sleep, when i finally fall asleep, the dreams wake me. also have the shakes, and muscle spasms. is that normal to have spasms? Today is day 1-again

      The muscle spasms are most likely due to dehydration. Alcohol saps everything out of you!

        I get hallucintion dreams sometimes they are worst then others especially when u rub your eyes and they are still there, the things you fear of the most SPIDERS.....

        my desire to avoid hitting bottom again was more powerful then my desire to drink !
