Not sure where to begin typing this reply. I think that you can and should try to detox at home knowing that if the withdrawal symptoms get too bad, you could go to the doctor or ER asap for some short term Ativan or something like that. Or you could ask a doctor first for a 3 days prescription.

Detox at home can be doable, you never know how severe your withdrawal will be though so consider asking your doc for a 3 day RX of Ativan or something to help.

PC, I know that you are going through a tough time right now. Withdrawal is never easy. But, you have a virtual cheering squad here....rooting you on!! By next week at this time, you will be feeling better than you have felt in a very long time!
