What a nightmare. I have to admit that being arrested is one of my biggest fears.

My understanding of alcoholism is that as it progresses, our body acts differently. Only a couple of drinks could end in a blackout, which is what happened to you. Your liver is processing the alcohol differently as your disease progresses. I know because it has happened to me. It is dangerous for me to drink because now, I never know what could happen. I have become completely sick from three glasses of wine, this after not drinking for about a month.

I am so sorry this happened to you, but grateful that you are OK physically and did not hurt anyone else.
