Guitar...I remember you from before and appreciate your support. Spud...thanks for your support also. I felt that I needed to keep busy during this time so I proceeded to start removing some wall paper in the house I moved into after the divorce...thinking I will paint in my week off. WELL...I know this project may not be completed as planned because I really fear that I will have serious withdrawls this time BUT.. I remain hopeful that keeping busy (perhaps moving slowly) will take my mind off the poison. Thank you all again for the support. I will be checking in alot.

Red, just do whatever is helpful and go with that. Be active when you feel like it, rest when you feel like it. But keep drinking water! And don't forget to eat.

Hi Red,
Just wanted to add my support as well. I hope the tapering goes well over the weekend and that Tuesday goes relatively smoothly for you. It is good that your ex will be there for you.
Drink loads of water and treat yourself to some nice meals as you detox.
As the others have said, you will feel loads better ones you get to day 4 - 5.
Will keep an eye out for your updates.

Hi Red, I am still but a newbie but am so enjoying quitting this poison with so many others on here, I too was a closet drinker and eventually it was found out and the consequences were, lets just say, not very pleasant. I can't advise you on meds or anything but I would really love to be here to morally support you and help you get through this.

Hiya Red, do you have a plan to go with the librium??

I did a home detox with Librium last year and started on a high dose to help with withdrawal that gradually tapered off in a week.
