I am totally planning on chilling in front of my TV tonight! I rented that movie "Prince of Persia" with Jake Gyllenhaal (who is super hot, by the way)...so I'll make some popcorn and enjoy the "eye candy"!!! hehe

Hi Rebirth!
I tried to get my daughter excited about the movie so I showed her his picture and she goes, "Yeah he has a nice body but he's OLD"....and I told her "Watch it girlie, he's younger than me!". LOL

K9Lover,
Love Jake Gyllenhaal too, Dannie Darko and Brokeback Mountain.
I have taken Antabuse on and off for years. Don't really care if I'm dependent on it. It's way better than being drunk. I've actually experienced such a feeling of safety and calmness after I've taken an antabuse dose because I know not only can I not drink, I don't even have to think about drinking. The decision has already been made for me. The trick for me was to take it on a regular basis, daily or every other day. No more of this "I'll only take it when I want to drink". If I wait that long, I'd end up not taking the pill and drinking the drink.
Get some comfort food for dinner. Be grateful you don't have pink eye (yuk!). Enjoy your movie and stay in touch.

After my relapse I gave up for the most part and rarely posted. Just wallowed in it most of the time for 8 months. I don't recommend that.
Are you going to start taking Antabuse again?

I like 'em kind of smoldering and swarthy (Benecio del Toro, Johnny Depp, Antonio Banderas). Sadly, my fiance looks more like Yoda.
Hang in there, K9. Did you go to an AA meeting? Sorry if you already posted about it and I missed it. xoxo PrideAF since July 15, 2010. :applouse:

Hi K9,
Stick close to these threads. It is easy to slink away and isolate yourself when you relapse. Believe me, I've been there more than once. Try to concentrate on all that you have learned from your 160 plus days of being sober. You know you can do it and you know that your life is better without the alcohol.
Have you read the "Toolbox" thread in monthly abs lately? Perhaps that would help. I am wondering what else you might need besides the antabuse to break the relapse cycle. Perhaps Campral (or some similar drug) from your doctor to help with cravings for awhile? Do you go to AA meetings? Is there someone who can sit with you or that you can call on the phone?
It is so apparent that you are a bright and shining soul. Look at how many people care for you here and we haven't even met you in person!
If for some reason you can't do this for yourself right now, do it for your daughter. When I relapsed the last time, I did not care enough about myself to stop but I knew that my daughters needed me and they needed me sober.

I never got around to watching the movie last night, my daughter convinced me to watch WWE instead...so I still got to see a bunch of shirtless sweaty guys. HA

Thinking of shirtless men.. think I could easily watch the chippendales for a laugh. It's cheesy and kitsch but sounds like real fun!

I think Yoda's cute too! And yes, Rebirth, he's a very lovely man, and a very funny one. He's a bike rider, so he can leave his shirt on, but he has great legs! : )
K9, sounds like a plan. :lAF since July 15, 2010. :applouse:
