    high levels of B6?

Thanks for the replies. Update: My LfTs are normal, but my B6 was VERY high. Must be from the multi-vitamin or my body's inability to metabolize B6??

    high levels of B6?

    Hi Stressd,

It's not very common for B6 (pyridoxine) to be high since it's water soluble--you just pee what you don't use. : ) Do you take high-dose supplements? It does seem like what could be causing your neuro symptoms. I wish I had more info for you, but there's a lot more data on deficiency.

It doesn't sound like you drank enough to have renal or liver damage this young (unless those partying occasions were nightly!). It's good you're getting a follow-up; your doctor will sort this out, so try not to worry too much before you know what the cause is.

      Hi Stressed,

      This snippet says a lot:
The nerve problems due to vitamin B6 toxicity are often reversible once the vitamin is stopped. However, very high doses (especially if taken chronically) can cause permanent damage.

If you want to read the entire article:

      Hope you feel better soon
