I feel a bit skittish here- being that I don't know you Grace- but it sounds like what ever you went through -being abused needs to stop-now. My older sister was a victim of constant physical, mental, emotional abuse by her husband, he was a tyrant- she finally left him- even though he kept calling her to come back. She moved to another state and lived with my parents till she was able to get back on her feet again-fortunately they did not have any kids...If you don't have family that you can run to-maybe another option is a women's shelter...just trying to help. Wish you the best.
