Probably in the Recipe section. If not, try the "What We're Listening To" forum. Ask for Don02 and he'll give you the info.

Yeh I reckon you have to make a couple of posts before you can put up a link otherwise the anti spam catches them first time up.

Do people really crazy glue their teeth? What about just going to a dentist...or is that what they do, anyway, and we just don't know it...what do they call it ? amalgam?

The constant wetness of your mouth, chewing, and the Ph factor might all impact super glue's stickiness. Also...your enamel is porous. Are you sure there's nothing in the glue that will harm your mouth in the long-term?

I have a core and need the crown put on. It's been a year. My dentist is getting p'd off, but I'll do it when I can afford it.

Why do people not google this stuff?? My 'Good Lord' (which is a local saying) meant who would try this, but since then I've found out a lot of crazy things people do. I admit, I remembered I actually ASKED my dentist about using it once on a loose crown, and (I'll spare you the technical and cursing) was adamantly warned against it. But I personally know people who have used white shoe polish on their teeth, filed down and shaped a tiny battery to fit over a missing crown, and filed off a painful broken tooth with a nail file, so, YES, in desperate times I guess some take desperate measures.
There were no 'expert' answers to this, even on the official Super Glue website, but it seems to be very commonly asked with the price of dentistry. Here's a quote I found......

'Superglue is toxic when ingested, its really not advisable to try to superglue your tooth. Also using glue is not going to save your tooth. Start calling dentists first thing in the morning and see if you can get an appointment ASAP.

A better solution to temporarily fix your tooth is to go to the drugstore and get temporary filling material and try to use that to bond your tooth back together - it won't save the tooth but at least its not toxic. You really would just be better leaving it alone because you could swallow that piece while you're sleeping.'

Besides, if you've never used Super Glue and accidentally glued your fingers together (your lips, or WORSE!) you don't want it to happen! And handsome Mario, I love apple bread, but hate professional wrestling.

                              My friend as you know.
This one was just a troll trying to start a thread on a site he or she had no business coming on. Thank you Ruby for telling those that have no idea the dangers that exist; he/she (the troll) was just an idiot.
Guys if you see something weird on a first or second post that has NOTHING to do with MWO and our survival, be careful letting that thread survive (as I am doing:-) but just one time for good reason my friends!
