You will get there, I know you will. You're a very strong and special young woman with a lot going on in her life. I wish you all the best with your college and your music and other artistic outlets. And I hope that things straighten out in your family so that the situation is less worrying for you.

Just know that someone is always here and you can talk to us about anything, anytime.

I'm an artist too. A musician/composer. So, you picked up for a bit after day 35? Cool. That's something to aim for.

What was it about those first days that caused you to be depressed? Could you be seeing a doctor about that? Was it mentally, or were you physically struggling?

Now. Off your arse and do something about your life. Don't forget our 'Toolbox' https://www.mywayout.org/community/f1...556.htmlthread here, and particularly read the posts on Gratitude vs. deprivation thinking. Is it easy to get of your arse and do something? NO! Should you do something? Up to you friend. The decision is yours. We may not choose this addiction/affliction/alcoholism/problem drinking, but we sure can choose how we want to live. Do you want to live your life on the grog? Yep, it's fun blotting out responsibility and our senses for awhile. There is an attraction to it, non? I know that, we all know that, and you know that. You have the power to decide your future.

Choose. Life, music, health, family, people, freedom. Or isolation, slow suicide, boredom. Boring, boring, boring, is the last option, i can tell you. Are you excited by drinking? Or ultimately bored and keep hitting a brick wall over and over again?

Lot's of love, and best wishes cousin.

Morning Inchy-sorry you are feeling? Well, I don't know what you are feeling-lonely for sure and isolated with your problems? You are a very passionate, talented, funny, caring young woman with goals and I admire you for those qualities. I am normally lurking at night as well, if you ever want to go into chat. There is a private chat feature once you are in there if you are uncomfortable with open chat. I don't promise to have answers but can offer an ear on those lonely nights. Left right repeat towards your goals girl. xo
