My Girlfriend says the most hurtful things when she's drunk....

    Let her go.
I know we have the misty watercolored memories and all, but sounds like they were few and far between. Maybe NOW is just not your time with her. She has got some serious issues....she is putting herself in harms way. There is not much you can do, we have to hit that bottom for ourselves ( sad but true).
We love to blame anything/ anyone else for our drinking.....bad day, idiot boss, hell, there at the end I blamed the guy who puts cheese on the nachos at ball games, thats all we've got because we see the writing on the wall and we are petrified of losing our AL. BLAME anything else, but we cant see that the problem is plainly and simply AL.
I am sorry you had to experience this. You seem like a decent, caring guy. You will find that person who makes you feel good about yourself and your relationship will be strong and healthy. This one is broken and in the ditch. Holding onto this person will drag you down too. Hopefully ,she has some family or friends that can guide her. She doesnt even sound rational! B

No definitely not rational while drinking. A rational person wouldn't argue for an hour over whether I said I took the last beer or that the last one was in the freezer - especially when she did get the last one that was in the freezer. Thats an hour of my life I'll never get back.

But there were a lot of very good times.

I'll keep dating and if she comes back on her own initative I'll see... but I'm not going to chase her anymore .

I already got two girls numbers and lined up a date with a third, plus an ex dating partner came out of the woodwork. I'll do my best to keep occupied until the longing passes.

What do I do when this girl resurfaces? It's inevitable she left some stuff at my house. I do quite like her.
