Zorba, take a look at baclofen for cravings, of all drugs. It's a muscle relaxant that was discovered to reduce cravings for cocaine, it's major off-label use now is mostly for alcohol addiction. Seems you've got a lot going on, this might help.

Zorba- you are not what you label yourself. Read read read. There are many of us in the middle of trying to get away from being stuck. It's an up and down road. I get my strength from those who have been successful, yet I also get it from those who still struggle. Lord knows I struggle, and I'm STILL trying to get in 30 days free of this chemical crap. But if I judge myself for every slip up, I won't get to my goal. Relish the good days that you didn't sink. Lots of neat people here on your side.

Hi Zorba, really I just want to say hello to you and tell you a bit about myself, I first joined this site quite a while ago and was still drinking on and off at the time. Since I have come back I call in every day and try to chat to someone. I have recieved so much he;p here I could never thank any one enough. I have also not had a drink in that time either which amazing for me. I do take medication to help me. I think you should try and see your doctor with as straight head and also try to call here often and read as much as you can Take care x

Seen my addictions nurse today and i have to see the hospital consultant next week to try subutex under observation,after that if i am stable she will see me again the following tuesday to arrange a home detox from the beast,please time pass so quickly!

I am pished again tonight.+250mg codeine + 100mg diphenhydramine,inside it is such a good stone,fuck the world,please let me die.
Yet a small part of me still would like to live happily,yet the beast has beat me!.still tryiin to survive.unfortunately i know there is no god.so prayers are useless.i love mother Earth and believe that what we give to our planet we have to take back.Mother Earth you need our help,please let us help you!
