    Husband Slept With Au Pair

    Hi XW,
How are you doing today? Please let us know. I'm glad you prayed and feel stronger, whatever works. I know that works for me too. Please stay strong!

Came across this tread and it is breaking my heart to read hot beaten down you are XWino. Everyone is giving such sound advise in this tread. You know in your heart that alcohol is NEVER going to make things right and all it creates is "Stinking Thinking". Put your focus on your kids and don't waste anymore time on destroying your life over such a spineless, selfish excuse for a "man". A real man takes his marriage vowels seriously and stands by you. For Better or for Worse!! He doesn't cheat on you or provide AL to feed your addiction. There is another life out there waiting patiently for you, where you can smile and be happy again. My thoughts and prayers are with you. BE STRONG GIRLFRIEND!!
:wings:Every day is another day to set things right!! Make today a new beginning, the first day of the rest of your life!:wings:

Goals: to stay AF and to start to incorporate some sort of exercise into my daily routine!!!:wings:

Hey Xw, I so feel for you. That has to be one of the most devastating situations ever, especially that you viewed her as a daughter and was so generous with her. I can't even fathom your feelings of betrayal, from both her and your husband. I would probably want to drink cooking wine and NyQuil and whatever else. I'm still struggling with my addiction so I can't offer any advice from that end....but if you have been sober, don't let this situation derail you! You have worked too hard! The scheming, heartless bitch, wow. I went through this in my first marriage, not to an au pair but an employee of my husband's. I hated her for the longest time, until I realized it was my husband, not her, who broke our vows. I wish you strength, courage and peace. My heart goes out to you. Take good care of yourself.

Hi, all! I have been on one wild ride, but I rode it without alcohol. I do not count days, but it has to be two close to three weeks without drinking. I took AB once. I got sick, but I will keep it close by for emergencies. Right now no cravings. I have been hospitalized for psychosis. My potassium levels were low. It was like being in jail. I don't know what happened in the last 72 hours was a hallucination or what was reality. I had some guy call me telling me we met two weeks ago and I don't remember him. Perhaps I was drinking then though. I was taking l-glut and other supplements recommended for alcoholism, but I stopped, but will go back to it. I refuse to let alcohol ruin everything I have worked for. Thanks for everyone who wished me well. I wish a sober life for us all!

Hi xwino, we met on ur first night posting on this thread, u seem to be making progress, it may seem slow but slow and steady wins the race
I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.
